Swing Time

THE author bought me an early birthday present...a free standing hammock. My brother-in-law had one at their lake house and I loved to lay there, read my book, and sway in the breeze. Well, we got it home and I thought a good place for it would be on the screened in deck off the kitchen. I didn't realize that we had picked up the LARGE hammock...the two-man hammock...and not like that is really a bad thing...THE author and I do like to cuddle...however, the only way this thing would fit on the deck was if I tore holes in screens on both ends of the deck! Plan B...we brought the hammock down to the yard level and set it up underneath the deck. I love it! The dogs jump up on it with me, but can't quite figure out what to do, so they crawl all over it and me. Our house backs to a wooded area with a walking path and I lay there and wave to the walkers and sway...
